John Magnier is convinced So You Think was not at his best when beaten by Rewilding in Wednesday’s Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The Coolmore supremo believes there were a number of contributing factors behind the Australian import’s defeat.
The five-year-old now has options in the Coral-Eclipse and King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes, and Magnier believes the Aidan O’Brien-trained giant will be seen in a better light wherever he runs.
“That wasn’t one of our better days, the whole thing, and I believe that our horse will have another day,” Magnier told At The Races.
“There was a combination of factors, but we’ll just wait and see what happens next time.”
