Woodbine is back operational 6 June. And across the country Assiniboa Downs in Winnipeg is going live a few weeks earlier.
Both will be without on track fans, which hurts them financially, but at least they are caring for their owners, trainers, jockeys, backstretch workers, farriers, race day workers, et al.
This 6 June date is 2 months later than the original planned date, but COVID-19 has a way of smashing original thought.
Woodbine will also open up harness racing the day after that too.
