Ten races have been set down for Sha Tin on Sunday, with good depth across the program.

1 Courier Magic is bursting to w(Bet Now:  $SP.00)in and I think he gets a great chance here. Narrowest of seconds here two back before going to Happy Valley where he got back and made up good headway in defeat when third. He won’t get a better chance to put a win on the board.

3 Meepmeep (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been freshened up since Oct 30 when racing at this track/distance, getting off speed and was never really a factor. Tick over trials have been solid enough, he commands some level of respect despite the draw.

8 Smart Trio (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to the mile after racing over 1800m here last start. He got back in the run and was never really a factor. Overall, this isn’t a deep race, so he could pinc first four at odds.

1 King Alloy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the straight bat play. He comes back to Sha Tin after a last start placing at Happy Valley when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat when third. He’ll get into a nice spot off speed and launch late.

6 Glory Cloud (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran a narrow second last Wednesday at Happh Valley. He got off the pace and drove hard late, just missing out on the win. Knocking on the door and strikes a winnable race.

4 All Are Mine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of New Bay that resumes. He hasn’t raced since June 28 when far from disgraced over the mile on the dirt here behind Fashion Legend. He’ll likely spot them a start but be strong at the end so watch betting.

2 Brownneedsfurther (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. He resumed over this trip at Happy Valley on Nov 2 when off speed and chased strongly in the straight when second. Tick over trial was a decent piece of work and this isn’t a race that has depth.

5 Vigor Eye (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Time Test that debuts for David Hayes. He commands respect because he has looked pretty good in trial work for start one, winning his last couple. Market will be the guide but I say he’s here to run really well.

8 Absolute Honour (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m here two weeks back when wide no cover for the trip and the hard run just told late in the piece. Better run in transit here, he can run an improved race at odds.

7 Incredible Moment (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the way I am leaning. He comes back to 1400m after attempting to lead throughout over the mile at Happy Valley. He gave a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late in the piece. I think back to 1400m and with a bunny to chase, he’ll be far more effective.

1 Jubilant Winner (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing like 1400m will suit. His last run came over 1200m here on Nov 9 where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never threatening, he did make up ground and was pretty good in defeat I thought. Tick over trial last week was strong and the rise to 1400m should be ideal. Key threat.

10 Top Park (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since attempting to lead throughout at this track/distance. He gave a decent sight from the front but couldn’t quite see it through when fifth. If he gets front end control, he’s dangerous against these.

2 With A Smile (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top. He hasn’t raced since Nov 2 over 1200m at Happy Valley when resuming. He was hard in the market but did early work in the run and I reckon that just took its toll late. Maps much better this time around, tick over trial was a good piece of work and Purton sticks.

3 Fit For Beauty (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one of the hardest to beat for John Size after a track/distance win a couple of weeks ago, getting a beaut run in transit under J Mac before angling clear and making a mess of them late to win and win well. He is one of the leading contenders off that performance.

9 California Banner (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m after sitting on speed over the mile at Happy Valley. He did early work to get there but tried hard and overall, I thought he had his chance behind Beauty Glory. Has run well at the track/distance previously, I am not dismissing him.

7 Fast Responder (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a good racing style and a liking for the straight course. He ran over this track/distance three weeks ago when on speed and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when second to Crimson Flash. Drawn the right part of the track, will press forward and only run well.

5 We Are Hero (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be respected after last Sunday at this track/distance, getting back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose when fourth to Colourful King. If within range, he has the finale to take this out.

11 Akermanis Gold (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. Former Queenslander that only had one run, which saw him win at Doomben on Jan 27. Has had extensive trial work since arriving and hasn’t been too bad to my eye so I’d watch betting.

1 Vulcanus (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks hard to beat. He was held by a good one in Szeryng last time, but he was held up at times and I think he was entitled to finish a touch closer. That form does read quite well for this and with better luck in transit, will take beating.

4 Hinokami Kagura (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been kept on ice since a track/distance win on Oct 30, getting the suck run from the inside gate before angling for clear air and in a driving go, finished best to score. Maps ideally again and strikes a winnable race.

10 Jolly Companion (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth in the race mentioned above that Hinokami Kagura won. He got off speed and was never really threatening but kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat I thought. Likely will spot them a start but if within range, has the finale to be dangerous.

1 Bottomuptogether (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating back to this level. He hasn’t raced since Oct 26 when down the track in the Premier Bowl at Group ll level behind Tomodachi Kokoroe. Better suited here and despite the wide draw, he can slide across, sit on speed and take beating.

3 Invincible Shield (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. He was a big price but worked home with real purpose when second to Patch Of Stars. He has found positive form and he can certainly go on with it.

4 Capital Delight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Capitalist gelding for Caspar Fownes that resumes. He hasn’t raced since Oct 4 over the mile on the dirt here when off speed and made up some ground but was never a threat to Sing Dragon. He’ll likely get back but be strong at the end.

Hard to get away from 4 Reliable Profit (Bet Now:  $SP.00), who does save his best for the dirt. He ran three weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed and chased with purpose in a good effort when third to Loch Tay. Racing well, loves this track and maps in an ideal spot.

1 New Forest (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been kept on ice since a romp at this track/distance on Oct 30, sitting on speed before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. More depth here, but hard to knock his dirt record and he has a good racing style.

9 Endeared (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track behind Loch Tay in the race mentioned above. He got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never really a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat I thought. If he can settle closer/be within range, he’s good enough to threaten at odds.

14 Etalon Or (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me in the get out. He ran over this track/distance four weeks ago when wide no cover the trip but stayed on and was quite game in defeat I thought. Maps much better this time around and gets serious weight relief. I think he’ll run a beauty.

2 Top Dragon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been freshened up since a win on Oct 26 over this track/distance, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive performance. Loved a tick over trial win from him last week and good lead that J Mac, who rode in the trial, sticks here.

3 Young Achiever (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He last ran on Oct 30 in the race mentioned above that New Forest won. He got back from the wide gate and was never a factor. Better suited at 1400m I feel and with two tick over trials, he’s fit enough.
