Ten races will be run and won at Sha Tin on Sunday with good depth across the program.

2 Meepmeep (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top but it is a bludger of a race to start the meeting. He hasn’t raced since Mar 26 over 1800m here when off speed and kept chasing in the straight in a good effort in defeat behind Yoda’s Choice. Tick over trial last week was good and the stable finds Zac to steer.

9 Tradition (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth in the Yoda’s Choice race mentioned above. He then went to Happy Valley last Wednesday when just off the speed and he tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when second to Verbier. Tricky draw to overcome but is racing well.

6 Perfect Peach (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited up in trip after racing over 1400m here two weeks back where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was good in defeat behind Regency Happy Star. Yet to tick the 1600m box but maps to settle much closer and be dangerous at odds.

I think you have to give 3 Top Dragon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) another chance. He hasn’t raced since March 23 over this track/distance where he got badly hampered at stages in the straight so forgive and forget the run. Tick over trial was good, maps well. gets Zac on…enough for me.

8 Jubilant Winner (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and should appreciate getting to 1400m after resuming over 1200m three weeks ago. He got off speed and chased with purpose in the straight when third to Jumbo Treasure. Up in trip I like and is a key threat.

1 I P O Bros (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m after racing over the mile on the dirt here when wide no cover for the trip and rightfully tired in the straight to finish near last. Better suoted on the Turf I feel and prior efforts weren’t too bad so don’t dismiss him.

1 Solid Shalaa (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. David Hayes trained gelding that resumed at this track/distance and was a real eye catcher in his return, closing off with real purpose in the straight when second to California Star. He was nearly a year between runs there so if there is no second up syndrome, he’s the one to beat.

2 Natural High (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth in the race mentioned above. He did early work from the wide gate to land on speed and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when a close up fourth, beaten a half length. If he can get a more economical run in transit, he can win.

6 Sugar Queen Prawn (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Tassort that is on debut for Douglas Whyte. He has had extensive trial work dating back to December to get ready for start one and has steadily got better with each hitout to my eye. Tricky draw, but I could entertain him for wider exotics.

1 Etalon Or (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will need luck from the wide gate but I am convinced he is nearing a win. He got dragged back from the wide gate when racing over 1400m here two weeks ago but you had to like the way he finished his race off in defeat behind Mr Cool. That was his first run in a month so he has room for upside/improvement and for mine, 1600m is no issue.

8 Fortune Boy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs for David Hayes since racing over 1400m here behind Super Express. He got back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose in defeat I thought. Tick over trial was good and is racing as if 1600m suits.

5 Blue Baron (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a knockout hope. I thought he was a real eye catcher on debut over 1400m here behind Hong Lok Golf in November. Spelled and resumed over the mile at Happy Valley where he got back from the wide gate and was never really a factor. Back to Sha Tin, I think he’s a big improver.

1 Chill Kaka (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to pick himself I feel. He was a dominant track/distance winner last time out, getting a decent sit in transit just off the speed before the button was pushed and away he went to win and win well. He was 1200m to 1650m there so with upside/improvement to come, Zac on, he’s the one to beat.

2 Precision Goal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran over this track/distance on the same meeting mentioned above from March 26. He ran in a different race when attempting to lead throughout and gave a strong kick from the front but just felt the pinch late. Front end control, he’ll acquit himself well again.

5 Vulcanus (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. He jumps straight to the mile after racing over 1200m here last start. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was good in defeat. He’ll spot them a start but I think be strong late.

Straight bat play here is 2 Helene Feeling (Bet Now:  $SP.00). Danny Shum trained gelding that is flying at present, the latest run being over the mile here two weeks ago behind Voyage Samurai. The sit/sprint set up wasnt’t really to his liking but he stayed on and was good in defeat. That was his first run in a month so with room for upside/improvement, he rates highly.

4 Voyage Samurai (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is unknown at the trip but he has a good racing style, and that won him the race mentioned above. He led throughout, got complete control, and that was the difference between winning and losing. If he gets a soft time of it in front again, he takes beating.

6 C P Brave (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track in the same race. He landed outside Voyage Samurai and tried hard but I just don’t think the sit/sprint set up was to his liking. Not sure he is good enough to win but I do think the rise to 1800m is a big tick.

1 Copartner Prance (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. Thrown in the deep end three weeks ago in the Sprint Cup and he didn’t disgrace himself in defeat at all behind the star that is Ka Ying Rising. Much better suited at this level and if there is petrol left in the tank, he’s the one to beat.

4 Bottomuptogether (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second three weeks ago at this track/distance in a race similar to this where he was near the speed and tried hard but had no answers late for Fast Network. That race rated really well vs the Sprint Cup, so he has to be respected.

2 Beauty Waves (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is first up and his best is good enough to be dangerous. He hasn’t raced since the Centenary Sprint Cup in January when outclassed behind Ka Ying Rising. Not a noted fresh horse but his trial work to get ready has been quite strong.

Siding with 1 Gummy Gummy (Bet Now:  $SP.00). This son of Sntzel ran over this track/distance a few weesk ago when off speed and he kept chasing with purpose in the straight when third to Must Go. Zac takes over and the depth here, I don’t think, as a whole, is overly strong. The one for me.

3 Must Go (Bet Now:  $SP.00) won the race mentioned above from March 26. He got the beaut run in transit behind the pace before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. Tick over trial was good and should land in a great spot from the gate.

5 Master Champion (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner. Former Aussie galloper that makes his Aussie debut for Danny Shum. He showed good promise when racing down under and his trial work to get ready for his Hong Kong debut has been solid enough so watch betting and see what it does.

4 Pakistan Legacy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the best horse in the race IMO and I’ll bank on that getting him home. He hasn’t raced since March 23 over this track/distance when near the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when third. Purton is on, tick over trial was strong…the one for me.

2 Triumphant More (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has done little wrong in a six start career for Frankie Lor and commands respect. He ran second in a track/distance on the same meeting mentioned above in a different race, a race that was a couple of lengths slower, but he was quite good in defeat. Will press forward and be around the mark.

11 Blazing Wind (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a knockout hope. He ran two weeks back over this track/distance when back near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was good in defeat behind Geneva. If he can get a drag into the race, he’s dangerous.

13 Sugar Ball (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a throw at the stumps in the get out. He ran over this track/distance three weeks ago where he was tardy away and that sealed his fate I thought when down the track behind Another World. If he can jump clean, he’ll land in a plum spot and be effective late.

2 Another World (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was six weeks between runs when winning the race mentioned above. He got into a beaut spot near the speed and finished best to win and win well, albeit the margin was narrow. But, he has improvement to come and good lead that Zac sticks.

10 New Forest (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m for Mark Newnham after racing over the mile on the dirt when near the speed and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Telecom Fighters. Back in trip, back on the turf, he’s an improver at odds.

LONG SHOT: Race Ten Number 13 Sugar Ball
