19/3/2025 Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets – Happy Valley

10 Mr Aladdin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the way I am leaning but not a whole lot of confidence. He ran over 2200m here two weeks ago where they rode him with a sit and he reacted I thought, finding the line well enough in defeat when third. Whether this is a prep run, not sure, but he will be strong late and gets Jimmy Orman.

5 Miles Away (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. He resumed over 1200m here on Feb 19 when a fair way back in the run but I really liked the way he closed his race off in defeat. Jumps straight to the mile but a recent trial was good snd he can settle closer in the run.

8 Windicator Family (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has had a couple of recent runs at Sha Tin and looks to be racing well. His latest run was over 1400m when back off the speed snd kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat. Like him up in trip snd for mine is a knockout hope.

2 Youthful Spirits (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top in what looks a good little sprint race. He ran over this track/distance last time when leading and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through snd felt the pinch late. If he gets front end control, he’ll take running down.

5 Sparkling Fellow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since Feb 16 when down the straight at Sha Tin and worked home well from off the speed when fourth. He’ll get back but be strong at the end I’m sure and is a key chance.

3 Colourful King (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fifth in the same Feb 16 race mentioned above. He looked quite fresh in the run and ran accordingly. He’ll take good improvement from that outing and a recent tick over trial was quite good.

6 Telecom Dragon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing last Wednesday night at this track/distance when off speed and just never really got involved when down the track. He can settle much closer in the run and still be effective late.

5 Excellent Peers (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is nearing a win. He ran three weeks ago at this track/distance where he got back to near last in the run but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat. If he can settle closer, he’ll be dangerous.

2 Never Too Soon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to be one of the key chances, several weeks between runs since racing over 1400m at Sha Tin when off speed snd kept finding the line without threatening behind Sky Jewellery, who would be $1.10 against these, so that form clearly reads well.

5 Loveisintheair (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks hard to beat off the back of his debut two weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed and kept chasing with purpose to be an eye catcher I defeat. Bowman takes over and if he can settle closer in the run, he’ll be hard to hold out.

1 Perfect General (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when on speed and was there to win but just couldn’t quite see it through and felt the pinch late. I think with a more patient steer, he’ll take holding out.

3 Flying Wrote (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has had two runs back from a spell, both coming at Sha Tin over 1400m. He attempted to lead throughout last start and gave a mini kick but just felt the pinch late. Back to 1200m, Happy Valley, he’ll run a much improved race.

I do think that 1 Casa Rochester (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is working up to something. He ran over this track/distance two weeks ago where he got to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was pretty good in defeat I thought. If he can get a drag into the race and be within range, he can win.

2 Red Majesty (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance where he got off speed and he kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat. Lands in a good spot and should be around the mark.

3 Harmony Galaxy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the same race mentioned above that Red Majesty contested, which was won by Sturdy Ruby. He got back in the run and made up headway without threatening. His best is clearly good enough to be around the mark.

7 Plentiful (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in a real purple patch at the moment and it’s hard to get away from him. He has won two on the bounce, the latest being on Feb 19 when a track/distance winner, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive display. He can continue winning.

4 Parents Love (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second to Plentiful in the race mentioned above, landing in front and he gave a strong kick from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through, feeling the pinch late in the piece when second. Front end control, he takes beating I say.

6 Fun N Fun Together (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is another likely speed influence. He ran three weeks back over 1200m here when attempting to lead throughout and gave a decent kick but couldn’t quite finish the job. Like him back in trip and will run a positive race.

9 Quantum Patch (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me in an open contest. Four weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when off speed and seemed to have his chance but he battled away and was good in defeat behind Hameron. Good track/distance record and this isn’t an overly deep contest.

2 Excellence Value (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. He was a track/distance winner two weeks ago, getting the right run in transit just off the speed before angling clear and finished best to score and win well. He commands respect.

6 Morgan Success (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is having his first run at Happy Valley after racing at Sha Tin. He ran four weeks ago over the mile where he got back and was never really a factor behind Sky Hero. I think his best is good enough so don’t dismiss him.

1 Wonder Kit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the each way gamble of the program for mine. He hasn’t raced since Australia Day at Sha Tin when racing in a strong Class 2 and didn’t disgrace himself in defeat I thought behind Gorgeous Win. He does save his best for Happy Valley and a tick over trial was quite good.

4 Gallant Valour (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a model of consistency and should be around the mark, as seen three weeks ago at this track/distance when just off the speed and loomed to win but just found one better in Aurora Lady. Does tend to save his best for this track/distance and has a kind map in his corner.

3 Healthy Healthy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes up to 1200m after racing over 1000m here last start. He got off speed and kept finding the line without threatening behind Red Elegance. The rise in trip, I think, is fine, and this isn’t an overly deep contest.

3 Aurora Lady (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the straight bat play in the get out and am pretty keen on his prospects. Impressive on speed win three weeks ago at this track/distance, landing outside the speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Lands in a plum spot again and is clearly the one to beat.

5 Beauty Destiny (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a tricky gate to overcome but hard to knock the way he’s racing at present. He is four weeks between runs since a track/distance win, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Gate makes things tricky but hard to knock the way he’s racing.

8 Harmony N Blessed (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1000m here three weeks back when near the speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite see it through when third to Red Elegance. Gets right down in the weights, will press forward and is a must for exotics.

BEST BET: Race Nine Number 3 Aurora Lady

NEXT BEST: Race Four Number 5 Loveisintheair

LONG SHOT: Race Eight Number 1 Wonder Kit
