5 Macanese Master (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the way I am leaning in the opener. He ran over 1200m a couple of weeks ago at Sha Tin when leading and giving a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late in the piece when third. Like him back to 1000m and with his racing style, he’ll give himself every chance.

4 Spicy Spangle (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been kept on ice since March 11 when midfield after this track/distance where he seemingly got into a decent spot in transit but just whacked late. Trialled up well since, his best is good enough to win.

2 Fortune Warrior (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since resuming over 1200m here where he got back off speed and whacked in the straight, never really threatening. Like him back to 1000m…he’s a definite improver at odds I feel.

9 Dragon Sunrise (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks one of the better gambles on the card. He ran over this track/distance four weeks ago when back in the run but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat when third. Purton sticks and if he can settle closer in the run, I think good luck beating him.

6 Family Fortune (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing over this trip on the Sha Tin dirt. He got back to near last and was never really a winning threat but didn’t mind the way he finished his race off. Gets Moreira on, can settle closer, he’s in the mix.

4 Exceed The Wish (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to the mile after racing over 1400m at Sha Tin on March 8 when off speed and held up at times but seemingly had his chance. Like the rise in trip for him and his best is good enough to take this out.

4 Take Action (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take a power of beating here. He ran third over this track/distance three weeks ago. He got off speed and worked to the line pretty well in defeat I thought. Has a gate to settle much closer in the run and be strong late. Hard to hold out.

1 Fantastic Fun (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third four weeks ago at this track/distance. He got into a reasonable spot in transit just off speed and I thought was there to win but just couldn’t quite finish the job. Knocking on the door and commands respect.

9 Kolachi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth in the same race that Take Action ran second in mentioned above. He got held up off speed but overall, I did think he had his chance. He needs to improve but no reason why he can’t.

4 Harmony Galaxy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1800m after racing over the mile here three weeks ago. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never threatening, I really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat. If he can use the gate and settle closer, he’ll take holding out.

9 Smart City (Bet Now:  $SP.00) placed four weeks ago at this track/distance. He did work from a wide gate to land on speed and did try hard but just couldn’t quite see it through, tiring late in the piece but still stuck on for third. More economical run in transit this time around, he’s dangerous.

3 Noble Pursuit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track at this track/distance four weeks back, getting a fair way out of his ground and while he was held up at times, he did seemingly have his chance. Maps to settle much closer and a win wouldn’t shock.

1 Beauty Alliance (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat after a track/distance placing three weeks ago, sitting just off speed and finished off his race well enough in defeat. Purton takes over and for mine, he strikes a winnable race. Happy to be in his corner.

4 Do Your Part (Bet Now:  $SP.00) placed four weeks ago at this track/distance. He got into a reasonable spot in transit just off speed and thought he was there to win but he couldn’t quite finish the race off. Knocking on the door and has to be respected as a key chance.

6 Fortunate Son (Bet Now:  $SP.00) finished down the track at this track/distance four weeks back. He was dragged back from the wide gate and was never really a factor I thought. Tick over trial was pretty good, I am not entirely dismissing him.

1 Motor (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a track/distance win, getting the sweet sit just off speed before angling clear and finished best to score. He’s found winning form, he can go on with it.

3 Storming Dragon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) placed at this track/distance four weeks ago. He got back to near last in the run but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat. If he can settle closer and be within range, he’s dangerous.

10 Next Fortune (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since Feb 22 when debuting at Sha Tin. He struck a hot race for this Class and was far from disgraced. Tick over trial was solid, I am not dismissing.

3 Master Lucky (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to Happy Valley after racing at Sha Tin on March 22. He was safely held on the line but I thought was far from disgraced. I think he’ll take beating against this lot.

4 Genius Baby (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third to Motor in the race mentioned above from the previous event. He got off speed and worked to the line strongly in defeat. He’s racing well and knocking on the door.

9 Trendy Rush (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since debuting at this track/distance. He got back to near last in the run and worked home pretty well late. Better for the run, he’s a knockout hope.

3 The Boom Box (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to Happy Valley after racing over the mile at Sha Tin. He got back to near last in the run and was good late without threatening. Like him back here, he’ll get off speed and think he’ll launch late.

2 Keefy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since placing at this track/distance. He landed on speed and did try hard but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Without Compare. Good racing style and should be around the mark.

6 I Can (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing over 1200m at Happy Valley where he got back to near last in the run and was solid late without threatening. Like him rising to the mile and is a definite improver at odds.

12 Somelovefromabove (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the good thing on the card. He is five weeks between runs since a track/distance win, sitting just off speed before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Harder here but he looks quite progressive.

9 Straight To Glory (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second four weeks ago at this track/distance. He landed in a decent spot in transit and was there to win I thought but just whacked late and couldn’t quite get the job done when second to Aurio. That form reads well for this.

6 Matters Most (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track in the Aurio race mentioned above. He was on speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch late. Not sure he is going well enough to win but can run first four.
