8 Mr Aladdin (Bet Now: $5.00) is knocking on the door to break the maiden tag and I think he gets a great chance here. He ran three weeks ago at this track/distance and tried his guts out but could only manage second. Tricky draw but with luck in running, I think he’s the one to beat.

10 Leather Master (Bet Now: $5.50) won that race mentioned above from three weeks ago. He sat on speed and was trucking before being clicked up by Basel and away he went to win and win well. Not much harder here so he commands respect.

4 Go Go Go (Bet Now: $10.00) is a son of Charm Spirit that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Jan 15 when attempting to lead throughout here and just felt the pinch late in the piece. Extensive trial work to get ready for the return, watch betting.

7 Parent’s Love (Bet Now: $3.20) has done little wrong in recent times and is the way I am leaning. He ran over this track/distance three weeks ago when leading and giving a good sight but just couldn’t quite see it through when third to Horsepower. Good racing style, he takes beating.

4 Seasons Wit (Bet Now: $3.20) ran second in the race mentioned above and his run was full of merit in defeat I thought given he was wide throughout yet kept finding he line. Better run in transit this time around, he appeals.

3 Healthy Healthy (Bet Now: $11.00) is dangerous with his best. He ran fourth in the same race, getting back in the run and making up headway without threatening. If within range, he has the finale to win.

5 Midori Fuji (Bet Now: $3.40) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. He ran over this track/distance three weeks ago where he got a mile out of his ground but you had to like the way he finished his race off in defeat. Hopefully he can get a drag into the race to launch over the top.

1 Sunday’s Serenade (Bet Now: $4.80) is flying and has to be respected. He has won two in the bounce, both at this track/distance. Latest was four weeks ago when giving them a start and a beating to win and win well. Hard to beat once again.

10 Super Sicario (Bet Now: $12.00) is having his first look at the mile but I think he’ll be fine after racing over 1200m here two weeks back where he was an eye catcher in defeat I thought from the back. Not sure he wins but can run top four.

5 Soleil Fighter (Bet Now: $2.00) looks a good thing for mine. He races best here and he looks to be flying given he ran over 1400m at Sha Tin last time and was game in defeat when placing behind a good horse, Invincvle Shield. Back to where he races best, I am keen on his prospects.

1 Helene Feeling (Bet Now: $7.00) has done his recent racing at Sha Tin and does tend to race best at Happy Valley so returning here, he’s a threat. Latest run was over 1800m when far from disgraced in defeat behind Californiatotality. His best is good enough to threaten.

2 Nimble Nimbus (Bet Now: $12.00) is an interesting runner. He comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since Mar 30 at Sha Tin when outclassed in the Chairman’s Trophy. He loves racing at Happy Valley and his recent trial was sound.

1 Galaxy Witness (Bet Now: $2.90) is the straight bat play. He ran two weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a good effort in defeat behind Haooy Fat Cat. Hoping he can settle closer in the run to launch at them late.

5 Mega Bonus (Bet Now: $11.00) is four weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when near the speed and he tried hard but was no match late for Lucky Planet. That form reads well. Just needs to overcome the draw.

7 King Lotus (Bet Now: $27.00) debuted in that Lucky Planet race mentioned above. He got back in the run and being start one, was raw and new to the caper. Better for the run and he had trialled well enough leading in.

8 Bienvenue (Bet Now: $3.10) takes beating here for David Hayes after racing three weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed and worked home with real purpose late in the piece when second. This isn’t a deep race and he looks ready to win.

9 Country Dancer (Bet Now: $7.50) is a key threat. He ran a fortnight back at this track/distance when off speed and chased well enough behind Locing Vibes. If within range, he has the finale to threaten.

6 Wiseman (Bet Now: $51.00) is three weeks between runs since debuting at this track/distance when off speed and was never a factor when down the track. If he can use the inside gate to advantage, he’ll run an improved race.

4 Great Spirit (Bet Now: $11.00) on top. He is four weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when off speed and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up headway and was pretty good in defeat. Not a deep contest this and he seems to be racing well enough to take this out.

3 Swagger Bro (Bet Now: $8.50) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he Kote finding the line in defeat. Tricky draw but this isn’t a deep contest.

11 Vulcanus (Bet Now: $19.00) is on the seven day back up after racing last Wednesday night at this track/distance when off speed and held up at times. If the breaks go his way, he is good enough to win.

Keen to be with 3 Excellence Value (Bet Now: $2.35). He ran over this track/distance three weeks ago when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a good effort in defeat behind Fallon, who would be favourite here. That form does read quite well for this and from the gate, he takes beating.

2 Rocket Spade (Bet Now: $9.50) looks to have returned well and is one of the key threats. He resumed several weeks ago over the mile here where he got back to near last in the run and made up good headway late in the piece behind Flying Fortress. Despite the tricky gate, he’s returned well and can threaten.

6 Luck Is Back (Bet Now: $51.00) comes through the Fallon race mentioned above. He landed on speed and he did try hard but just lacked the quality to go with them late. Not sure he is good enough to win, but with his racing style, he can pinch first four.

5 Storming Dragon (Bet Now: $21.00) each way for me in the get out. He ran over this track/distance two weeks ago where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up headway and was pretty good in defeat. If he can settle closer, get a drag into the race, he’ll take holding out.

3 Storm Rider (Bet Now: $3.60) is one of the hardest to beat after a placing at this track/distance a fortnight back where he was near the speed and presented to win but just found one better in Happy Fat Cat. Maps ideally, racing well, key threat.

9 Ballistic Win (Bet Now: $16.00) is having his second look at Happy Valley after recent racing at Sha Tin. Latest run was last Sunday over this trip when far from disgraced in defeat behind Crossborderpegasus. That form does read well for this so don’t dismiss him.
