‘A world-class catalogue of 472 lots has been confirmed for a spectacular Australian Easter Yearling Sale be held at Riverside Stables in Sydney on March 29 and 30.’
‘In a stunning collection of some of the world’s most desirable bloodlines, the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale catalogue features an extraordinary 48 hours of yearling sale theatre.’
Known as the Best of the Best, Inglis Easter is the most important yearling sale in the Southern Hemisphere, a message Inglis CEO Sebastian Hutch always wants to highlight.
‘We are incredibly grateful that year after year, Australia and New Zealand’s best breeders save their best stock for Easter and 2026 is no exception,’ said Sebastian Hutch.
‘The demand for places in the sale was overwhelmingly strong and we could have catalogued significantly more yearlings than what we have, and I’m pleased where we have settled.’
‘We were determined to try and manage the numbers carefully as at the 2025 Easter, 104 yearlings could have been bought for $200,000 or less highlighting the value on offer at Easter.’
Again, its John Muir with his select Milburn Creek yearlings that continue to make headlines at the Australian Easter Yearling Sale, as well as the annual Magic Millions on the Gold Coast.
Already at the Gold Coast Milburn Creek had their Snitzel-Embrace Me sell for $1.5m to Chaina Horse Club/Newgate Farm, and their Anamoe-Luqyaa colt sell to Myracehorse for $850,000.
And its a proud John Muir who steps out on Sunday with Lot 62 as “a very nice colt that easy to like being from a deep routed black type family, and is by the champion Starspangledbanner.
“An 18 August foal, he’s the third of the US stakes winning Treasure Beach mare Saratoga Treasure, a half-sister to three stakes performers, and with his grand- dams having thrown 13 winners.”
“Next is Lot 153, our ‘baby sire’ as we call him, as he is our sire in the making, being a three-quarter brother to our dual Group 1 Magic Time, and by I Am Invincible he’s a very nice horse.”
A bay, foaled 17 August, he’s the fifth foal of the SAJC Sires Produce winning Nicconi mare Time Awaits, who with four foals to race and win has Henlein also second in the Spring Champion Stakes.
Onto Day 2, the Monday, its Milburn Creek with their chestnut Anamoe-Chocolate Martini colt that is Lot 254, “and with Anamoe winning 9 Group 1’s is a great achievement,” said John Muir.
“A good looking colt that’s easy to like with a strong pedigree, he’s from a very good mare with his winning Snitzel half-sister Cantarito just beaten over 1800m on heavy track at the Gold Coast.’
“A very correct colt, his dam who was a Gr2 Oaks winner in America, and being third in the Gr1 American Oaks is from a multiple US stakes winning family, tracing to dual Gr1 Ladies Din.”
Also on Sunday, Milburn have their Stay Inside colt as a second foal of the Stakes performer Spectacle, and a Home Affairs colt being the second foal of the Wakeful Stakes winner Victoria Quay.
On Monday their Snitzel filly is from Gr3 Diamond Effort, a Zoustar filly from Gr2 Every Rose, then two Zoustar colts with the first from Gr2 Fanska, and the second is from Stakes winner Hindaam.
And of course, all yearlings purchased at the Australian Easter Yearling Sale can nominate for the rich Inglis Race Series of the $2m Inglis Millennium, $1m Inglis Pink Bonus and $5m Inglis Xtra Bonus which highlights the 50 $100,000 annual bonus payments.
