Racing NSW Stewards have approved the addition of a small amount of Synthetic Hoof Filler to the inside of the near hind hoof of Winx, who will be running in Saturday’s $4m Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at Randwick where she is the $1.15 favourite to make it 25 straight wins.
Trainer Chris Waller has advised the hoof filler has been applied to assist in the plating of the mare today.
Winx raced with synthetic hoof filler in last years edition of the the race in which she beat Hartnell by over five lengths.
