Champion mare Winx has had another hit-out this morning at Rosehill where she ran fifth in a trial behind multiple Group 1 winning sprinter Redzel.
Winx was quietly ridden throughout with her best work coming over the final stages of the 1000m trial which was won by The Everest winner Redzel impressively.
In the star studded trial another horse to catch the eye was Godolphin three-year-old Alizee who hit the line strongly.
Winx is now likely to head straight to the Group 2 Apollo Stakes with her ridder still yet to be confirmed with a decision on Hugh Bowman’s careless riding appeal to be heard at 11am today.
