Champion mare Winx’s little sister is set to make her debut on Monday at Warwick Farm.
Winx’s little sister Covent Garden who is also trained by Chris Waller will be making her long awaited debut in a maiden over 1200m at Warwick Farm on Monday.
Covent Garden who is a daughter of Exceed And Excel out of Vegas Showgirl, the same dam as Champion mare Winx has had three trials to date including a narrow win at her latest outing and will be partnered by Winx’s jockey Hugh Bowman.
Bookmaker Sportsbet has installed her as the $4.50 favourite in the race but she has eased in early betting after opening at $4.00 on Thursday morning.
