Racing Victoria stewards have adjourned an inquiry into Jamie Kah’s tactics aboard Letsfacethemusic in the McNeil Stakes at Caulfield. Kah, who rode the I Am Invincible colt trained by Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr. to a fifth-place finish as an $8.50 betting chance, settled the horse behind the leaders during the race. Evidence was taken from Kah and the trainers, but the inquiry will resume at a later, unspecified date.
Meanwhile, jockey Luke Nolen has been suspended for eight meetings due to a careless riding charge related to interference while riding Mathew in the third race. Nolen will begin his suspension after riding I Wish I Win in the G1 Moir Stakes next Saturday. His ban starts on September 8, with eligibility to return on September 16.
