A horse that cost just $2,000 has won impressively at the Gold Coast and has raced into Magic Millions Classic contention.
The Toby and Trent Edmonds trained The Drinks Cart has shortened from $41 into $17 with BetEasy to win the 2020 Magic Millions Classic after making relatively easy work of his rivals at the Gold Coast on Wednesday.
The Drinks Cart finished too strongly to beat Kavak who was a good debut winner franking the form despite it being a mid week meeting.
The horse that cost just $2,000 National Yearling Sale buy will be targeted at the $2m Magic Millions Classic in January.
