Star galloper Zaaki has been a late scratching on The Everest day at Randwick on order of stewards.
Zaaki was under some doubt to race today in the $5 million dollar King Charles III Stakes after results of a blood sample collected yesterday morning with the permission of Chief Veterinary Officer Dr Peter Curl revealed a slightly elevated white cell count.
Zaaki was one of the leading contenders with online bookmakers in today’s Inaugural King Charles III Stakes at Randwick where star Victorian galloper Mr Brightside is now the odds on $1.90 favourite with Ladbrokes.
