South Australian trainer Will Clarken is expecting a few phone calls with offers after Anilla’s raced to an impressive trial win at Morphettville on Monday.
The three-year-old gelding won his trial by six lengths, smashing his rivals in 58.68 seconds with jockey Todd Pannell aboard.
The unraced son of Valentia could step out as early as Saturday’s meeting at Morphettville.
“I’m going to enter him for Morphettville on Saturday,” Clarken said.
“He’s not necessarily on the market but I have a feeling my phone is going to be ringing for him, so we’ll see what happens.”
