Trainer Bjorn Baker and jockey Glyn Schofield have been hit with large fines for taking a selfie after the pair combined to win the ninth event at Randwick on the weekend.
NSW stewards issued trainer Bjorn Baker with a $4,000 fine and Glyn Schofield with a $2,000 fine after the pair took a selfie following the running of race nine at Randwick on Saturday in which they combined to win the race with Off Shaw.
Baker and Schofield pleaded guilty to separate charges under AR233(a) of having breach the Racing NSW COVID-19 policy, in that they failed to remain 1.5 metres apart and embraced each other whilst being photographed, following the running of race 9.
