Stanley Express, last year’s $1 million VOBIS Showdown winner, will continue his racing career in Hong Kong under trainer Pierre Ng.
The son of Stryker was heavily supported for his debut win in the feature juvenile race for Clinton McDonald but had just one more start, where he was sidelined due to cardiac arrhythmia at The Valley.
The $110,000 weanling, purchased by Hong Kong interests who also race Star Patrol with McDonald, recently trialled under Kris Lees at Scone before his departure.
Stablemate Refusetobeenglish has also been exported to Hong Kong and will be trained by Ng.
Other notable Hong Kong-bound horses include debut winner Sponge Bob, Perfect Excise, Reach The Peak, and Stormy Grove, all making the move to new stables.
