Multiple Group One winning sprinter Sunlight showed she will be a force to reckon with this Spring with an impressive trial win this morning whilst Happy Clapper’s trial was on face value disappointing.
Sunlight showed she was a serious contender in this years $14m Everest with an easy win in her trial against some classy gallopers. The Tony McEvoy trained mare is a currently a $9 chance in The Everest odds and is set to make her return in the Concorde Stakes on September 7th.
Happy Clapper’s trainer Pat Webster thought the trial of his star horse was disappointing after he finished sixth behind Baller in the first trial on the card.
