Craig Williams will ironically take the ride on Vega Magic in the Memsie Stakes after an appeal by champion jockey Damien Oliver was dismissed by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.
Damien Oliver had blamed Williams for the interference at Sandown but it is now Willo who has had the last laugh taking Oliver’s ride on key Memsie Stakes hopeful Vega Magic.

Oliver received a 14 meeting suspension following an incident during a mid-week meeting at Sandown.
He pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge aboard Redcore in the opening race at Sandown on the 16th August which resulted in the winner Esperance being crowded and Secret Reward and The Sword being checked.
Oliver is free to return to race riding on September 3, a day after the Group One $1 million Memsie Stakes at Caulfield.
