Today’s very impressive winner Sepoy has become the newest favourite for the 2011 Blue Diamond Stakes after winning impressively in the Blue Diamond Preview (C&G) at Caulfield.
Sepoy was sent out as the third favourite in the race worth $100,000 but beat his opposition with ease after sitting just behind the leaders during the run then under wraps moving up to level with leader Bossdon City before hitting the lead 200m out and drawing away for an easy victory.

Peter Snowden trained son of Elusive Quality took his winnings to over $120,000 after beaten home Grand Britannia and the odds on favourite Golden Archer by more than 3 lengths.
Sepoy opened in markets at $8 and was solid throughout betting without moving from his original quote even with the large majority of money coming for the Peter Moody trained Golden Archer.
