Rothfire is out of this years Everest
Star Queensland sprinter Rothfire will not take his part in this years edition of the $15m Everest after the decision was made to send the horse for a spell after his run in the Premiere Stakes on the weekend.
Slot holder James Kennedy made the announcement of the scratching of Rothfire from The Everest this morning via a media release which stated he and his team are now on the lookout for a new contender for the rich race to run under their banner.
Rothfire missed last years edition of the $15m event due to injury and was a $16 chance in Everest odds with Sportsbet prior to the news.
