Trainer Robert Smerdon who is embroiled in the current doping scandal will walk away from racing and will not front the inquiry.
Robert Smerdon was facing 115 charges of race day treatment and doping but has decided to retire from training rather than face an inquiry which is set to resume on the 30th April.
Eight people are facing a total of 271 charges from RVL stewards although both Robert Smerdon and Greg Nelligan who are at the center of the allegations will not be present.
Smerdon retiring without the balls to face the music at the inquiry. Sums the bloke up completely. Good riddance.π
