Nominations for this Saturday’s Randwick meeting in which the Group Two Apollo Stakes have been announced with thirteen horses nominated to take on Champion mare Winx in the 1400m event.
Winx headlines a quality list of horses nominated for the race with multiple Group One winners Happy Clapper and Le Romain amongst them.
In early markets Winx’s stable mate The Autumn Sun was on the second line of Apollo Stakes betting but is absent from the nominations with Happy Clapper the second in betting now at $10 behind Winx at $1.10.
Winx’s trainer Chris Waller once again dominates the nominations to take on the Champion mare with ten of the fourteen horses nominated coming from his yard.
