Sunday's postponed Sale meeting will now run on Monday
Victoria will host an unscheduled meeting on Monday after Sunday’s postponed Sale card was deferred 24 hours.
The Sunday card was postponed after 50mm of rain fell on the track since Friday afternoon, leaving sections of the track between the 1400m and 1700m unsafe for racing.
Racing Victoria stewards inspected the track at 2pm Sunday and deemed it suitable for racing on Monday given the predicted temperature of 28dg.
The fields, barriers and distances for the rescheduled meeting remain unchanged with scratchings reinstated.
The new race times for the rescheduled meeting are; Race 1 at 12.35pm, Race 2 at 1.05pm, Race 3 at 1.40pm, Race 4 at 2.15pm, Race 5 at 2.50, Race 6 at 3.25pm, Race 7 at 4pm, Race 8 at 4.40pm.
