Omei Sword who was sent out as the favourite for today’s Coolmore Classic has been banned from racing for a three month period for bleeding during the race.
The three month ban means she will not race again during the Autumn Carnival.
Omei Sword opened as the $3.00 favourite for the Coolmore with WilliamHill.com.au before drifting out to $4.50 at jump time, she settled at the back of the field and was never sighted.
Omei Sword bled through both nostrils. Autumn over w/ 3 month ban.
