NSW trainer banned for 3 years

NSW trainer Kent Fleming has been disqualified for three years over cobalt offences.

Fleming has been handed a three year ban from training findings of cobalt at a concentration above the level excepted in AR178C(1) in a pre-race urine sample taken from Pitbull prior to the gelding winning the Class 2 Handicap conducted at Ballina racecourse on the 26 December 2016.

Ken was best known as the trainer of G1 winner Lucky Hussler before the horse was moved to the Darren Weir stable.
