Owner Bob Peters has recorded his tenth win in the Group Two Perth Cup following the win of Midnight Blue.
The Grant and Alana trained son of So You Think sat three wide throughout but was able to put a big enough gap on his rivals at the 200m mark to hold off the fast finishing Paddy’s Shadow and Platoon.
The win gave jockey Pat Carbery his second victory in the G2 feature with his other win coming in 2001 aboard grey mare Lottila Bay.
