A runner has come out of the nine horse Cox Plate Field as a late scratching after swelling and soreness were detected.
The Cox Plate has been reduced to just eight runners after Kaspersky was scratched from the race at 8:19am following soreness to the horses near fore leg.
Kaspersky was a $101 chance in Cox Plate markets.
