Living Legends, a haven for retired racehorses, welcomed two new additions to its roster on Wednesday: the beloved ex-gallopers Lankan Rupee and So Si Bon.
Trained by Mick Price, Lankan Rupee boasts an impressive resume as a five-time Group 1 winner, amassing over $4 million in prizemoney during his illustrious career.
Notable among his victories is his triumphant run in the 2014 Manikato Stakes, hailed as one of the race’s finest moments.
Meanwhile, So Si Bon, initially trained by Robbie Laing before moving to Lindsay Park, gained notoriety for his spirited antics on the track.
Despite his mischievous reputation, the gelding showcased remarkable talent, securing nine victories, including two in the VOBIS Gold Mile at Caulfield.
With two racing legends joining its ranks, Living Legends continues its mission to provide a serene retirement for esteemed athletes of the turf.
