Another female jockey has been taken to hospital after suffering a fall at Gawler.
Teagan Voorham was riding Balwarra Gold in the last race on the Gawler card when her mount was squeezed for room and fell, Voorham was taken to hospital for observation.
Chris Bieg Racing has given a positive update on Teagan’s condition saying she is conscious and in good spirits but will undergo scans.
The fall comes as two young female jockeys Melanie Tyndall and Mikaela Claridge lost their lives over the weekend.
