Victorian jockey Josh Cartwright is set to make is return to race riding after serving his 18 month suspension.
Josh Cartwright was suspended in January, 2017 for intentionally riding his horse into the path of other horses in a race at Morphettville.
“He’s done his time. He’s matured. He’s grown. It was agreed by all that he should be given the opportunity to come back.” Racing Victoria’s chief steward Robert Cram said.
Cartwright is set to make his return on Friday at Swan Hill which starts Swan Hill’s three day Carnival.
