Racing NSW is taking extreme measures in their fight against the coronavirus with jockeys to be locked out of the state and to be split into certain riding regions.
Jockeys in NSW will be grouped into certain regions in which they will be able to ride throughout the corona virus epidemic to mitigate the risk for the sport if any jockey or participant is infected.
An announcement sent to jockeys and their managers detailed the different regions and requirements for the foreseeable future which will result in some of the countries best jockeys not being able to ride through Sydney’s Autumn Carnival.
