After only just failing to get up in his debut run in Dubai the Will Clarken trained He’s A Balter will be looking to go one better in the Group 2 Blue Point Sprint over 1000m at Meydan this weekend.
And Clarken will also have a more than useful back-up in race in the form Parsifal who, like He’s a Battler, has also already had his initiation into Dubal action, having finished sixth in his first international outing.
Jockey Caitlin Jones, who rode both He’s a Battler and Parsifal when they were last in action, has given her vote of confidence to He’s a Battler opening the way for the champion, multiple classic and premiership winning jockey Jamie Spencer to take the ride on Parsifal.
Jones did state though that she thought there was very little between the two runners.
Both runners will have gear changes going into the race. He’s a Balter will have the tongue tie removed while Parsifal will be fitted with blinkers.
Nine runners have been carded for the race.
