Happy Clapper will return in the Group One Winx Stakes
Despite a relatively disappointing trial on Monday trainer Pat Webster has said it is still full steam ahead for his stable star Happy Clapper to make a return in the Winx Stakes.
The multiple Group One winner finished sixth in his trial at Randwick on Monday which Webster labelled as ‘disappointing’ although the horse did not wear his accustom blinkers which should sharpen the horse up as he makes his spring return in the G1 Winx Stakes on August 24th.
Happy Clapper is the third favourite with Sportsbet at $5.50 in Winx Stakes odds.
