Group One winner Gailo Chop has returned from a long injury lay off with a third at Cranbourne this morning.
Now in the care of Matthew Williams at Warrnambool, Gailo Chop hasn’t raced since finishing second to Winx in the 2018 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.
Williams is planning three trials before Gailo Chop has his comeback run in the Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington on September 14 with the Cox Plate a target.
