Brad Rawiller has given the Daniel Morton trained Elite Street a ten out of ten ride to win the Group One Winterbottom Stakes.
The lightly race four-year-old gelding was having just his ninth start in the Winterbottom Stakes but with the aid of a near perfect ride by jockey Brad Rawiller has caused a minor upset in one of the feature races in Perth.
Elite Street settled mid field and was taken to the outside by Rawiller early in the straight and given enough time to wind up and eventually hold off his rivals to claim his first black-type win.
The son of Street Boss had only won his maiden in June at his third start and has gone unbeaten since albeit in much easier company with the horse taking the monumental step up from a Rating 72 race to the G1 feature.
