Dwayne Dunn is set for an extended period on the sidelines after scans revealed he has a fractured C6 vertebrae that may require surgery to stabilise.
Dunn was transported to RM hospital for scans on his neck after he hit his head on the barrier stall at Moonee Valley on Saturday which revealed he had fractured his C6 vertebrae.
Dunn was aboard Shot Of Irish in the fourth event on Saturday’s Moonee Valley card when the horse reared when the barriers opened hitting his head on the top of the stall.
