1. Stoltz: No jockey booked here, jockey booked elsewhere…dare say he’s not running here.
2. Brudenell: Brudenell just looks an insane price to my eye. He comes through the Healy at Eagle Farm when seemingly having his chance but was plain late. Think this is more his level, he’ll stalk the speed and be quite strong at the end I feel. He only runs well IMO.
3. Givemethebeatboys: He did find the right part of the track when making up ground in the Healy, so IMO, he was a touch flattered. Does command respect, to an extent, but needs luck.
4. Pereille: Luckless in this race previously, but gee I think he’s a non winner and am stunned that he is favourite.
5. Fire Star: Didn’t do a bad job in the Healy but the big tick for him is Blinkers on. With luck from the gate, he can win.
6. Band Of Brothers: Just missed in the Hinkler then led in the Glasshouse and tired late. Back to 1200m suits…just not sure if there is petrol left in the tank.
7. Cosmic Fire: First up and does create interest. If he brings his best, he is dangerous…but just want to see what the market does.
8. Kitty Fash: Total forgive in the Swiss Ace but I have others ahead of her.
9. Manolo Bling: Chased with purpose when second in the Gai Waterhouse Classic. A win wouldn’t shock at all if they overdo it in front.
10. Harry’s Bar: Harry’s Bar should land on speed and only run well. Got the job done two back in the Wagga Town Plate before a solid effort in the Bob Charley last time behind Wanaruah. Lands in a plum spot and should be around the mark.
11. Boom Torque: Retirement beckons surely.
12. Ready To Schipp: Kept on the fresh side since an okay effort in the Dane Ripper and is capable, but happy to watch.
13. Lisztomania: Big win first up at Eagle Farm, giving them a start and a beating. Will need luck but can motor at the end and is a threat for sure.
14. World Alliance: World Alliance will need luck but can launch late if the breaks go his way. He ran over 1200m at Randwick last time where he got a fair way out of his ground but really liked the way he finished his race off. If he can use the gate and stalk the speed, he can finish off hard.

16. My Mum’s Toyboy: Toughed it out strongly to win the John Carlton. Harder here though and not sure she is up to it.
