Chautauqua set to try again

Champion sprinter Chautauqua has been entered to take part in a trial at Rosehill next week.

Chautauqua has to trial satisfactory twice in front of stewards before being able to race again after failing to leave the barriers in five of his last six tries in jump outs and trials.

The multiple Group 1 winning sprinter is being aimed at the $13m Everest on October 13th although his barrier antics have put doubt over whether he will be available to run in the race.

Chautauqua will line-up with The Everest favourite Trapeze Artist in Trial 9 on Tuesday morning.
