Racing Victoria (RV) veterinarians have today inspected 17 out of 18 starters and all emergencies for this Saturday’s Caulfield Cup (2400m).

Aktau was withdrawn from the Caulfield Cup yesterday morning by trainer Michael Moroney after the stable notified RV that the gelding had suffered a tendon injury in his off fore.

The Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas-trained Dalasan is yet to arrive in Melbourne and as such will be examined by RV veterinarians tomorrow.

All other horses have been passed fit to race.
