NT jockey Brendan Sweeney remains in an induced coma following a horrific fall at Fanny Bay racecourse in Darwin on Saturday.
A three horse fall in the second last race on the card saw jockeys Brendan Sweeney and Kim Gladwin rushed to Royal Darwin Hospital via ambulance in a critical condition.
Brandon Sweeney suffered a punctured lung, broken ribs and has had little bleeds on the brain which resulted in doctors placing him in an induced coma whilst Jarrod Todd is badly bruised and Kim Gladwin has suffered concussion and fractured ribs.
Australia Jockeys Association on Sunday gave an update on all three of the jockeys conditions with Todd and Gladwin recovering well whilst Sweeney remained in an induced coma in a stable condition.
