Boom four-year-old gelding Barocha has been sold to Hong Kong after connections received an offer too good to refuse.
The Clayton Douglas trained galloper caused a social media stir on debut after a text message circulated saying the horse would ‘just win’ and he did just that easily.
Barocha caught the eye from International buyers following his debut win but they were initially knocked back, however following his impressive win at Geelong the offers were increased and connections opted to sell the horse.
The son of Ilovethiscity was purchased for $12,000 with the selling price to Hong Kong buyers reported to be over $1million with Peter Twomey organising the deal.
