Enthaar the red hot favourite in Saturday’s Blue Diamond Stakes will require veterinary clearance after being found lame in the near fore on Thursday morning.
Short priced favourite Enthaar was among three horses who will need to be re-assesed by stewards on Friday before being passed fit to run in the G1 Blue Diamond with outsider Marine One and Dosh also needing clearance.
Enthaar is the current $2.30 favourite with Sportsbet in the $1.5m event whilst Dosh is priced as one of her key rivals at $13 with the follow up vet check set to shape the race.

Racing Victoria’s update regarding the veterinary inspections:
Racing Victoria (RV) veterinarians have today inspected 15 out of 16 starters for this Saturday’s Group 1 Neds Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m).
Three horses will be re-examined tomorrow morning by a panel of three veterinarians (two RV and one independent), the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Enthaar, the Lloyd Kennewell-trained Marine One and the Graheme Begg-trained Dosh, after all three horses presented with lameness in the near fore.
The Tom Dabernig and Ben Hayes-trained Finance Tycoon will be inspected tomorrow when he arrives at Flemington.
All other horses have been passed fit to race.
