Champion Western Australian mare Arcadia Queen may have run her last race following another injury setback.
Arcadia Queen who was favourite with Sportsbet in Saturday’s Group Two Emancipation Stakes has been removed from the market after an injury setback with her racing future also in doubt.
The star WA mare has had an interrupted preparation after she was ruled out of the $5m All Star Mile as favourite on stewards orders after she was found to be lame ahead of the race.
Owner Bob Peters turned the mares attention to Sydney however wet weather and now another injury steback which will require scans has ruled her out of this weekends race and has cast doubt whether she will race again.
Arcadia Queen will undergo scans on Wednesday with the results to determine her racing future.
More to come…
