Regal Power will return to WA after suffering a lung infection
All Star Mile winner Regal Power has been ruled out Saturday’s Feehan Stakes and will miss the remainder of the spring racing carnival.
Regal Power has picked up an infection to his lungs and will return to Western Australia when connections can work out the logistics to do so.
“I don’t think he’d be right for our carnival either,” Peters said.
“The infection’s there and he has got to be treated, he can’t fly so the logistics aren’t good at the moment.”
Regal Power won the $5m All-Star Mile and was being targeted at the Cox Plate but has failed to fire in his two runs this campaign.
