270 horses remain in the running for the world’s richest juvenile race, the $3.5 million Group 1 AAMI Golden Slipper (1200m).
Second acceptances closed on Tuesday.
There were no surprise non-acceptors, with all expected Slipper fancies remaining among entries.
These include Magic Millions winner Karuta Queen, Breeders Plate winner Smart Missile, Gimcrack Stakes winner Defiant Dame, City Tattersalls Plate winner Satin Shoes and Inglis Classic winner Pane in the Glass.
Blue Diamond Preview winners Sepoy and One Last Dance are also still in contention.
New Zealand still remains a possibility of having its first Golden Slipper runner since 2005, with Peter McKay paying up for Estrato.

Of the unraced horses, interest surrounds Rothesay’s full sister Fast Shanti, who trialled very impressively at Rosehill on Tuesday.
Also of interest is Kimurasun, the half brother to Elvstroem and the full brother to Haradasun.
Trained by Gai Waterhouse, Kimurasun is yet to trial.
Starspangledbanner’s half brother National Anthem, Tuesday Joy’s half sister Joy of Bridie and Nicconi’s half brother Niconoise are other unraced gallopers who are still in contention.
TAB Sportsbet will begin betting on the Golden Slipper tomorrow, with Karuta Queen heavily anticipated to open as favourite.
