The Fields have been released for Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup day apart from the feature race itself with the final field to be announced after the running of today’s Hotham Handicap.
As we have come to expect on Melbourne Cup day the fields are big and even with lots of chances in each of them given punters betting on them plenty of value.
The first race on the card kicks off pretty early at 10:55am and is for the 2YO’s in the way of the Ottawa Stakes.
The final race will be run at 5:15pm with the $8m Melbourne Cup itself fitting into its normal time slot at 3PM.
The Melbourne Cup Field will be announced around 5PM tonight with the Barrier Draw to be conducted an hour later.
