Jockey Jacob Opperman must have thought being a jockey was simple after his first race ride won by 50L before it was declared a non race.
Opperman was riding the heavily backed Miss Gatsby in the race and she jumped to the front and led all the way to an easy 50L win before realising the other horses weren’t following.
Unfortunately the race was declared a non race and his mount was scratched when the race was re-run.
