Boom three-year-old Masked Crusader has stamped himself as a horse to watch ahead of the Spring after a dominant win at Randwick.
Masked Crusader went to Randwick having won two of his three career starts and was sent out as the odds on favourite and backers were never in trouble with Tommy Berry taking the son of Toronado to the front before putting a space on the rest of the field early in the straight and increasing the margin in the concluding stages.
Bookmakers were quick to turn the geldings price in for The Everest ($21) and the Silver Eagle ($11).
