Recently Darren Flindell has been getting rather creative with his race calls.
Which is often lost on most punters but appreciated by those who do get them.
Well, at Nowra on Tuesday, Anthony Manton, the one chosen to come to town and call this year’s $500k Country Championship Final, was at it too.
We had to wait until the very last race, but it came and it was accomplished…all too well.
As TAYLOR BE SWIFT (Your Song – Hot Commodity) strode clear with 75m to go, Ant was heard calling, “And Taylor Be Swift does it all too well.”
Now, obviously being by Your Song from Hot Commodity the mare is wonderfully named, as Taylor Swift is a global sensation.
As for the reference…hmmm, well, one of her longer songs is called All Too Well.
